Targeting innocent civilians is terrorism

In this clip regarding the Boston marathon bombings Obama states:

Any time bombs are used to target innocent civilians it is an act of terror.

Drone attacks under the Obama administration have killed over 150 innocent children.  But the killing of innocent children by government personnel is not terrorism?  Of course not.  The term terrorism never applies to government killing.  The killing of innocent people by government is called "collateral damage" making it sound like it couldn't be prevented.

Reminds me of a quote: "The terrorist is the one with the small bomb."

Congo's conflict minerals

An interesting provision was included in the Dodd-Frank financial regulation legislation that was passed in 2010. The provision created a new regulation that forces US companies to disclose to the SEC whether or not the minerals in the company's products came from Congo.

US soldiers planting weapons on Iraqis

This video investigates the use of "drop weapons" in Iraq by US soldiers. The US soldiers carry around AK-47s to "drop" on Iraqis that are killed accidentally.

Watch as the soldiers struggle with their conscience in describing the process. You can see the torment it causes as the soldiers begin to realize the US military is not as honorable and noble as they thought.

Many US police officers are former US military. If police are found planting weapons on civilians it should come as no surprise.

This is one of many reasons why I will instruct my children to never join a government military. Never. You are fighting for the government - not for the citizens. The government military will devour your soul.
